A warm hello from the Pastoral Formation Team! Click on each of the team members to find out more about them.
Sr Grace enjoys some smooth jazz while working at home and contemporary Christian music which is always welcomed in her car while driving. She comes from a very small family consisting of her mum, dad and her sister who are all in her hometown in Poland. Her hobbies include cooking and baking breads and blogging. Sr Grace is a mix of extrovert and introvert and her specific role in the Pastoral Formation Team is being a leader, which to her excitement means: making more leaders in my team! Her local parish, Good Shepherd in Plumpton, run by the Capuchin Friars is very well attended, multicultural and vibrant.
Tanya is the one of four children and was considered a tom boy doing everything her 3 brothers did until blossoming into a young lady at 16. She belongs to a great vibrant parish - St Finbar’s in Glenbrook, and she is passionate about Spirituality and how people perceive this. In the Diocese of Parramatta she looks after the Pastoral Formation team - keeping them organized, helping out with projects and managing the Bede Heather Centre in Blacktown. Her strengths are her skills in organization and networking, and she is known for her caring, empathetic, adventurous and fun nature!
Raimie studied Arts-Education and is now in her post-grad in Theology which are her two passions. She is one of three children, and her warm and adventurous personality adds to her strengths of creativity, relationship-building, and digital media to the Pastoral Formation Team. Her role includes: Facilitating the Ministry Leadership 2022 program; developing online resources (social media, podcasts, blogs, and upcoming e-learning courses); and the new Scripture & Socials Program for young adults. Outside of work you can find her playing basketball, running a coffee shop, or at her local parish Our Lady of Angels in Rouse Hill.
Donnie is our resident cheeky introvert who is practiced at being extroverted. He has enjoyed making dad jokes long before becoming a dad to his first son this year. Donnie and his wife met in the local school connected to their local parish St Andrew’s in Marayong and have been married for 6 years. Donnie’s specific role in the Pastoral Formation team is to facilitate the Themes of Faith 2022 program, provide formation & training through life-faith themed workshops; hosting diocese wide events; and producing content like blogs, podcasts and streaming videos. He currently loves lofi chill/hip-hop music, running and writing poetry.
